Lexi Willets is a Long Island New York native. Growing up, Lexi played for William Floyd High school and was a two-year varsity captain her Junior and Senior year. Over the summers she played for team-91 Titanium which gave her the opportunity to be recruited to Queens University the summer going into her Junior year. Following her high school career, Lexi moved to Charlotte and started her collegiate journey the Fall of 2017. During her time at Queens the team has made their NACC final for debut, won three Southern Atlantic Conference championships and one South Region championship. Lexi is a two-year starter for the Queens royals and is a captain for this upcoming season. Lexi is an Elementary Education major and has a stong passions for working with kids. Following graduation, Lexi hopes to have the opportunity to teach in a school district where she will also be able to be a school coach.
