Coaches Bio

Ellison is a Charlotte native, Queen City Stars alumni and 2013 Myers Park graduate. She attended Hamilton College, majoring in Art with a minor in Education. Hamilton, which is in the competitive NESCAC conference, was consistently ranked in the top 20 during Ellison’s time there. After graduating, Ellison moved to the Boston area, where she was an assistant at Babson College. She helped lead the Beavers to a New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championship in 2018, advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Babson made a repeat appearance in the NEWMAC Championship in 2019. She coached the Defensive Player of the Year (2018,19), Offensive Player of the Year (2019), an All-American and seven All-Region Players. During that time she also received her Masters in Arts Teaching from Tufts University. She is currently entering her second year as the assistant at Dickinson College, in Carlisle, PA. Dickinson competes in the Centennial Conference, and Ellison handles the defense.
Given Dickinson’s remote instruction this fall, she is excited to be back working with the Stars!
