What Is Carolina United?
North Carolina's Leading Players
Carolina United is a joint effort between North Carolina’s top girl's lacrosse programs: Queen City Stars (Charlotte) and Carolina Fever (Raliegh/Durhan) to identify rising juniors and rising sophomores from these programs to represent their clubs as well as the state at one event each fall and one event each summer. Carolina United is an opportunity for representatives from the state's top club programs to compete at a nationally recognized recruiting event each season and help promote the brand of North Carolina lacrosse.
Why Play Carolina United?
Club Pride & State Recognition
Carolina United players will participate in one even in the fall and one event in the summer - neither of which will overlap with Carolina fever or Queen City Stars Season Schedules. As tournaments get harder and harder to enter (more teams, fewer spots) Carolina United affords North Carolina’s leading players form these two top programs a chance to play in the one coveted event each season while also offering the opportunity to showcase lacrosse at our state’s level.
Carolina United rosters will be selected each season with an eye towards player interest, position balance, and competitiveness. Our aim is to showcase North Carolina talent.
