Members of Queen City Stars will have the opportunity to be selected to participate on QCS Elite Travel. These girls will play at the national IWLCA recruiting tournaments. Note that players graduating in 2011 will play together this fall while players graduating in years 2012 – 2017 will be selected for the fall and summer.

DETAILS:
Elite teams will be selected by invite only and MUST have a QCS membership to be considered. Click here to find out more information about the QCS Membership.

Each elite team will be invited by Thursday, September 30th based upon practice and league play (September 12th, 15th, 22nd, 26th and 29th), athletic potential and prior club performance.

As a QCS member you will have available to you ALL of the QCS membership items including the tournaments listed. As an elite member, you will ADDITIONALLY travel to the national premier recruiting tournaments as well as attend separate team practices throughout the year to foster a sophisticated level of team play and prepare for these elite recruiting tournaments.

FALL PRICING:

QCS 11/12:            $250*
QCS 12/13/14:      $75*
QCS 15/16/17:      NONE

*This additional cost to the membership is to cover the elite tournament registration fees, field fees and coaching staff stipends and travel.

SUMMER PRICING:
QCS 12:                  $325* (includes all tournament and coach travel)
QCS 13/14:            $325* (includes tournament and coach travel)
QCS 15/16/17:       $150* (includes tournament and coach travel for one IWLCA tournament)
CAMP FEES:           $300-400 ESTIMATE* (includes week between tournaments camp, lodging and food)

INCLUDES:
ELITE TOURNAMENTS:
FALL – IWLCA Tournament (Naples, FL) – November 20th and 21st  (11/12 Team Only)
SUMMER – IWLCA Champions Cup (Downingtown, PA) – June 11th and 12th (12 and 13/14 Team Only)
SUMMER – IWLCA Capitols Cup (Boyds, MD) – June 17th, 18th and 19th (All Teams)

ELITE CAMP:
SUMMER - Camp and College Tours June 13th – 16th (12 and 13/14 Team Only. QCS Staff will run tours of schools and practices with outside college coaches between the summer tournaments. Camp is in conjunction with LaxManiax (FL) and Bay Area Wave (CA).

PRACTICES:
Elite practices will be held separate from Instructional sessions.
FALL – Sundays (October 10th, 24th and 31st, November 14th) and Wednesdays (November 3rd, 10th and 17th)
WINTER – Saturday Late Mornings – January 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th
SUMMER – TBA

RECRUITING WORKSHOP:
QCS Coaches will hold a workshop to help players construct their athletic resumes based upon college coach input.
